Southwind Animal Hospital has expanded our Urgent Care services to better serve the needs of our patients and families. Our team has always been dedicated to supporting our community—not only by keeping pets healthy through wellness care, but also by being there when they are sick and need us most. As pet parents ourselves, we know how stressful it feels when your beloved companion isn’t well.
We now have a dedicated team of Southwind staff focused solely on urgent care visits, enabling us to handle more urgent care cases and accept additional walk-in appointments— all while continuing to provide the same trusted doctors, caring staff, and high-quality care you know us for.

Availability & How It Works
- Available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, excluding holidays.
- No appointment necessary! Walk-ins are welcome, though we encourage calling ahead so we can prepare for your pet.
- A triage system is in place: the most critical patients are seen first, then patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly ask for your patience.
- Non-urgent issues that can wait until the next day or later will be scheduled through our regular scheduling system.
Please note that while we are equipped to handle many urgent and emergency scenarios, we are not a dedicated emergency hospital. If your pet requires prolonged hospitalization or intensive care, we may refer you to a trusted emergency facility.
We remain grateful for your trust in us and are proud to be part of your pet’s healthcare journey. Our goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing that same-day help is here when your pet isn’t feeling their best. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to care for your beloved companions.
